Stories with 2nd Class

This week we had our first story reading session with 2nd class. They will be reading to us twice a month. We really enjoyed it and can't wait for the next story session!!! Thanks so much to Ms Gavin and her great class of readers!!

Back with a Bang!

We have been very busy since coming back to school two weeks ago. we have started our Aistear play sessions during the day. Big thanks to Ms O' Flaherty and Ms Currivan for all their help!!!
We have been really enjoying all the different activities. We have been making our own play dough and creating 3D structures from junk art.

Shapes

We have been learning all about flat shapes. We learned about circles, squares, triangles and rectangles.

We are also learning about patterns and we have been busy making pretty pattern.

School Walk

Thanks to all who sponsored us! We walked to the playground in Corkagh Park from our school. We had some fun in the playground and then walked back. We were pretty tired after all the walking but we had great fun with all our friends.

Colour of the Week

Yellow

All this week we have been learning about the colour yellow. We had fun making a yellow flower, star, sun, moon and a duck. We worked really well together. Have a look at some of our pictures.
